This picture is the result of numerous alterations, as the author could not grasp the idea for a long time. It was written from October 2021 to January 27, 2022. The final work has little in common with the original intent of the artist. The yellow-orange sky, perhaps, embodies the unconscious anxiety of the author at the end of January 2022, the feeling of the onset of an extremely uncertain future.
The work is painted with oil paints on linen canvas with acrylic primer. The excessive number of layers and the carelessness of the brushstroke hid the texture of the canvas in the sky and in some other places of the picture. Canvas is unevenly stretched and tends to sag. Despite these technical shortcomings, the picture makes an impression on the viewer.
