Alexey Beregovoy
oil on canvas, 45 cm x 35 cm.
2022
This picture was painted under the impression of the beauty of the meadows and forests surrounding the Chusovaya River. The backwater depicted in the picture is located in the vicinity of the ancient village of Chusovoye. The first mention of it refers to 1709. The beauty of the river itself and its environs cannot be compared with anything. This is a special and unique nature of the Middle Urals. Fortunately, it is still little touched by human activity. Primordial nature extends for tens of miles around. The painting depicts a flowering riverside and a relic pine forest.
The painting took three months to paint. The artist has explored new color combinations for this work.
