This painting is a small research study that the artist painted in the first two weeks of 2022. The yellow sky and the emphasized sloppiness of the brushstroke over it, coupled with the slightly more detailed grass and flowers, apparently embodies the beginning of an unconscious anxiety about a very uncertain future.
